We are releasing the Awakening Season today, and I felt it was important to share our journey with you, and to thank for your support. Be it an investment in LOCG or just taking the time in Dubai to meet and give advise - it was a great help.
I have always been enamored by the crypto community and its history - the craze, possibilities, decentralized ideals, humor, people etc. I'd write a book about the early days of crypto, but I am not a good writer. I figured a game can do a better job.

In 2021 we created 50 first names based on individuals I'd met in real life ...and we got the cards. Profession, handle, quirk, skills, impact, and our famous community sense of humor were all included in Bitcoin Maximalist, Crypto Day Trader, VC Guy, the Whale, and other cards.
Our first prototype was based on Top Trumps, a table card game published by Hasbro. We even showcased it at Bitcoin Miami 2021 where we received positive reviews. However, after the event and our first live MVP test run, we realized that playing the online version of Top Trumps even with our funny characters is very dully. So, we decided to scrap the MVP, and build a totally new game that rocks.
From scratch we went through four new paper prototypes and three months' worth of game design before facing two mental breakdowns and one workplace injury. :) Nobody died. Despite all that, we managed to create an exciting gameplay that got great feedback from our beloved community (including 10,000+ messages "Wen Binance?, Wen Moon?", meaning "when will Binance be available?").
We didn't want to just clone Hearthstone, so we took a good old Triple Triad as the core. Then added lots of fun features and web3 earning opportunities with your cards! You can play all day in Story Mode or have some serious competition in Arena and Tournaments - it's up you! 5 visual rarities of our cards - Prestige, Elite, Super Elite and Legendary should make your NFT collector excited.
It took us almost one year to build the NEW LegendsOfCrypto. I hope you enjoy this new game, befriend our legends, take them to battles, and appreciate the jokes, art and all the hard work we collectively put into this game.
