As previously announced, the new Awakening Season of LOCGame has been launched with a plethora of new features.
‍

It’s your time now to get access to this exciting season! To do this, you’ll have to meet a new hero who will be your exclusive pass to the game in the Awakening Season.

Introducing, Iris!
‍

Who is Iris?

Iris is a new LOCGame hero who’s set to perform a plethora of roles in the Awakening Season & beyond. Like other characters, she’s set to be minted as an NFT card that can be used within the game — but that’s where the similarities stop. Unlike other cards, Iris performs two very important functions:
‍

• The pass into the Awakening Season: The card is used to access the game and its numerous new features. Without the Iris card, no one can play LOCGame in this season.
• Your Guide: Iris will be your coach during the in-game tutorial and help you navigate the new features.

“The Iris Opening” Campaign

“The Iris Opening” is a new campaign in which we will distribute daily 10 codes who will be your key to get the Iris cards. Its name was coined from the participant’ ability to “open” the door into “The Awakening”
‍

The Iris Opening begins today, the 7th of October 2022 and ends at the end of this month (31/10). We will give away 10 Iris cards every weekday through our social media and community channels such as Telegram and Discord, Instagram and Twitter. Make sure to follow us and keep an eye daily so get the codes first.
‍

To get an Iris card, you need to:
‍

• Register on market.locgame.io using your email and Metamask Wallet, if you haven’t already.
• Own 15 Unique NFT Cards. If you don’t have enough cards from previous NFT sales, you can buy the Starter Pack in our in-game store, which contains 15 unique cards.
• A code to get the Iris card. 10 codes will be secretly spread daily in our social media and communities. Every participant needs only 1 code, but make sure it’s valid and no one else has used it before.

Getting your Iris Card

Once you get a code, you need to:
‍

Step 1: Apply the code and registered metamask wallet address on https://www.locgame.io/early-access-awakening. A message will tell you whether your application is successful or if the code has already been used. *All participants must be registered on the marketplace in order to receive the Iris card
Step 2: We issue the Iris Card to your registered wallet.
Step 3: You will be able to see the your Iris card in the Marketplace. Click on the user profile section (top right icon) and go to “my cards” tab. It take 10–30 min for your Iris card to be minted in your wallet.

During this season, you can:

• Earn when completing the Story Mode
• Earn from stakes playing with friends in PvP mode
• Exchange your LC earnings to $LOCG
• Be one of the top 3 players on the Leaderboard Weekly and win NFT Cards and cool LOCGame merch, such as caps, Tshirts, mugs, etc.
